First off, I love the box and bottle design. Very chic and I like to pretend I'm chic af, so that's one gold star from me. Now lets get to the scent: It smells delish. No lie, Gwen baby. (Yes, a Stefani reference, I know...shut up.) When I read that it had notes of vanilla bean and black coffee, I should have known I'd fall in love. None of the notes seem to overpower the rest, they all blend together in a glorious nose-heaven harmony.
Two things that make me hate a fragrance: Overpowering musk (old man) and floral scents (old lady). Black Opium is neither of those things. Black Opium is sexy. I feel like a sultry vixen when I wear it. Hide yo husbands, hide yo dads, because I'm wearing YSLBlackOpium. Just kidding - kind of.
So by golly, color me impressed! Black Opium is definitely my new favorite fragrance and that says a lot considering I still wear some of the same fragrances I wore in high school. I will definitely be purchasing the full size.
